• The Hurricane Fleet is the Original Myrtle Beach Fleet. We operate out of the closest port to the Atlantic Ocean, allowing for more time on the water for everyone to enjoy cruising the coastline and witnessing the meteor shower, away from the lights of the city.

Escape the lights – We’ll position you right off the Atlantic Coastline, giving you a fantastic view of the coast, yet far enough away from the city lights to avoid light pollution of the stars.

• Your family and guests will board our vessel in the quaint fishing village of Little River. You’ll cruise through the waterway, out into the Atlantic Ocean. Along the way, you’ll see the lights of the coastline in full view as you head out to the grounds where we will see the shower in perfect darkness.

The Perseids can be viewed any time after dark, but for the most avid stargazer, the meteor count is always highest in the predawn hours when the skies are at their very darkest and when your position on Earth is forward to the motion through the dust cloud.
